“विद्या विनेयन शोभते”. Vidya Vineyan shobhate.
The meaning is that a true knowledgeable person feels dwarf in front of this infinite knowledgeable world.  Therefore, there is no trace of pride in knowledge in her.  This is the beauty of knowledge.  Just as the beauty of a women’s does not lie in her clothes, but in her beauty, similarly the beauty of Vidya lies in her modesty.
As this motto belongs to our Jagdamba Education Society’s, we colleges are using it.
